When using our Chrome Extension specifically, we may collect:
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.
Usage Data may include information such as your Device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.
We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and store certain information. We use these for purposes such as:
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

SMS notifications are strictly opt-in. You will only receive text messages after you provide your phone number, verify it with a one-time code, and enable the SMS notification setting in your account.
We use Twilio, Inc. as our SMS delivery provider. Your phone number and the content of the notification messages are shared with Twilio solely for the purpose of delivering those messages to you. Twilio processes this information under its own privacy policy and acts as a service provider on our behalf.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding the aggregators and providers of the text message services (such as Twilio) necessary to deliver the messages.
Opting out: You can stop receiving SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message we send, or by turning off SMS notifications (or removing your phone number) in your account's notification settings. After you reply STOP, we will no longer send you SMS messages unless you re-subscribe. Reply HELP for help.
Message frequency varies based on your tracked cases' activity. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

The security of your Personal Data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
The MyCasesHub website is supported in part by advertising. This section explains how advertising works on our Service and what choices you have.
This section applies to the MyCasesHub website only. It does not apply to the Chrome Extension, which displays no advertising and uses your data solely for its single purpose of tracking USCIS cases.
We show advertising to visitors who are not signed in and to signed-in users on the Free plan. We do not show advertising to users with a paid subscription. Upgrading to a paid plan removes advertising from your account.
We use third-party advertising providers, currently including Google AdSense, to serve advertisements on our website. These providers and their partners may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons and similar technologies, to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to select and measure the advertisements you see.
This information is collected directly by those third parties under their own privacy policies, not this one. We do not provide your account information, email address, or USCIS case receipt numbers to advertising providers.
You have the following choices:
We may also show promotional offers from third-party partners, such as immigration service providers, within the Service. We may use information about your case, such as the form type you are tracking, to decide which offers are shown to you, so that what you see is more likely to be relevant to your situation.
We do not share your Personal Data with these partners in order to do this. The selection happens on our own systems, and a partner learns nothing about you unless you choose to act on the offer. If you click a partner offer you leave our Service, and any information you then choose to provide to that partner is governed by that partner's privacy policy and terms, not ours.
Partner offers are identified as advertising. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the products, services, pricing, or outcomes of any advertiser or partner. Nothing shown in an advertisement or partner offer is legal advice from MyCasesHub, and it is not a recommendation that you take any particular immigration action.
We use third-party services to understand how the Service is used and to detect technical faults, currently including Google Analytics and Sentry. These services may set cookies or collect Usage Data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. We use this information to operate and improve the Service, not to build advertising profiles.
Our Chrome Extension is designed with privacy in mind and follows these principles:
The extension sends limited usage data to Google Analytics so we can tell how often it works and where it fails. We record the following events:
Your case receipt numbers, your name, your USCIS case details, and your login session are never sent to Google Analytics. Only the counts and category labels listed above are sent.
To count returning users rather than raw events, the extension generates a random identifier the first time it runs and stores it in your browser under analyticsClientId. It is not derived from anything about you and we cannot use it to identify you. It is kept in Chrome's synced storage, so it follows your Chrome profile across devices where you are signed in to Chrome. Removing the extension, or clearing its storage, discards it.
The extension's popup and options pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which makes your IP address visible to Google in the same way visiting any site that uses Google Fonts does.
In compliance with Chrome Web Store policies, we declare that our extension:
The Chrome Extension handles the following data types:
The extension stores only two things, both in Chrome's synced extension storage:
analyticsClientId described under "Usage Analytics"The extension does not keep a copy of your case status results. Each check is fetched fresh from USCIS and handed to MyCasesHub, so there is nothing cached in the browser to view offline.
Case status data read by the extension may be transmitted to and stored on MyCasesHub servers to provide case tracking and to improve our aggregated, anonymized analytics. We retain and let you delete this data under the terms described in Section 3 (Retention of Your Personal Data and Delete Your Personal Data).
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact us by email: cs@mycaseshub.com
